MKV, AVI, MOV, FLV, TS and the codecs most phones refuse: AC3, DTS, HEVC. Hardware decoding wherever the device supports it.
Move a video into the vault and it is encrypted on the device with a key held in the phone's hardware keystore, out of the gallery and out of backups. Opening it needs your PIN.
Resume, playback speed, subtitle timing, and a folder view that matches how the files actually sit on disk.
Background audio, a proper notification control, and gesture seek and brightness where you expect them.
Playdabba never fetches, suggests or catalogues anything. There is no downloader, no search, no recommendations and no built-in browser. The vault holds only what you put in it. Nothing you play, and nothing in the vault, leaves your device.
It does not ask for all-files access, your location, your camera, your microphone, your contacts, or the list of apps installed on your phone.
